Our Vision
Our purpose and vision in Forestal-San Vincente is primarily to realize community growth with Gods Love. We believe that Christ called us to love those around us, which includes providing for both spiritual and physical needs in His name. We firmly believe in the Remanso de Amor vision of working in the spiritual, economic, social, educational, and mission’s areas. For our particular community, a satellite, poorer urban neighborhood on the outskirts of Quito, we believe that God will show his love in these areas as we, his workers, step out in faith and begin to take that work upon ourselves. We believe in holistic community development, guided by God, and founded on Christ’s love. Remanso de Amor San Vincente - Forestal has been developing with the mission in mind to impart the Word of God in accordance with the mandate in Mt 28:19, with the vision to both serve God, and thus also serve the community our congregation resides in. For this reason, we have developed a number of projects to serve our community with Gods love, and continue to dream of, and work towards realizing new projects and means of service.
