The program works with adolescent single mothers, young adult mothers, mothers working in the informal sector and small children who are cared for by relatives.

The program objectives are: - Develop the mental abilities of the children.
  - Empower and strengthen mothers with the tools for the daily care and social protection of their children.

  - Follow up, and aid in special health cases.

The school-aged children are provided help with school supplies, medical care, a balanced nutritious meal 3 times per week, and helped with grade equalization in the case of low academic performance. In the case of a chronic illness or an accident, Remanso helps financially with 80% of the total value needed. Children who do not belong to the Remanso de Amor social program are entertained at Christmas, receiving a Christmas gift, as well as receive regular medical attention.

Youth meet regularly at youth groups, consisting of biblical teaching and sermons, games, worship, and study.  The youth are encouraged in Remanso de Amor to learn music and be involved in worship bands, which are playing beautifully and worshiping the Lord in various Remanso de Amor locations.
