Education - Thinking of the Future
Remanso de Amor sees education as vital to the development of marginalized communities, and an integral part of Gods plan for the communities we work in. The Argelia Alta location currently has an operating grade-school and high-school, offering affordable education to children that previously had little or no access to that type of service. While the costs are extremely low, many kids are still pardoned from paying their school fees, due to extrenuating economic circumstances, and thus their are always kids looking for sponsorship to help provide them with the education they need, and help keep the teachers paid, and the school running. Remanso de Amor also currently operates a theological semenary with graduates every year. The goals is to also one day provide post-secondary programs.
Helping youth to enter society with reflexive, critical, and creative thinking is the main goal of the education program at "Remanso de Amor." The vision is to train leaders who can develop healthy families, and change the country.
